Dear Seeker,

"Even though there are times in our lives when it feels as if happiness has shut us out -- or that conditions that seem to be beyond our ability to deal with are closing in on us -- the truth of these moments is not as it appears. We have not reached the end of what is possible for us to become -- we have only reached the end of our present understanding."

~ Guy Finley

Special exercise: If not now, when?

The next time you find yourself about to do the same old thing you've always done -- eat the doughnut "just this once"...get drawn into the same argument you've had a thousand times with someone...quit before you have a chance to fail at something -- ask yourself, if not now, when?? If I don't put the doughnut down now, refuse to argue now, push through the fear of failing now -- when am I going to do it? Can you see that "someday" doesn't exist, that it's just another word for never? Now is the only place where you can turn your potential into your reality.
