Dear Seeker,
"If we will only work to remember that we live in a world within which there are an infinite number of stories unfolding -- all at the same time -- then we will never forget that it is our choice as to which of these stories becomes our life."

Special exercise: Reach for peace
We cannot be at peace with others (or within ourselves) when all we are aware of in any given situation is what we want, and nothing else. Whether it's a desire that manifests over time, such as pursuing a particular career path, or a momentary desire, such as when you're in a hurry and want to get out of traffic -- desire with no awareness beyond the need to fulfill it inevitably leads to consternation and conflict! This week, watch for all the myriad ways in which desire pushes you to do its bidding. See if you can catch the moments when a desire is pushing you to rush, or lie, or make someone else feel bad -- and reach for peace instead. Reach for that higher awareness that exists above the blinding nature of desire, and which helps you to more clearly see the unlimited paths of peace before you.
