Dear Seeker,
"The seed of wisdom is in knowledge, but the real flowering takes place in action."

Special exercise: Make the extra effort
We all have days when we just don't feel like doing anything. For whatever reason, it's just a struggle to find the energy, motivation, or willpower to do what we know needs to be done. Everything becomes a chore, and we're tempted to do the bare minimum to just get through the day. As you might suspect, hidden in these moments is actually a golden opportunity to get some "extra spiritual credit." Because when you deliberately choose to go against these dark, blah feelings, you strengthen a part of you that can never be dragged down. Even the smallest efforts -- making your bed, straightening your desk before you leave work, opening a door for someone -- are rewarded instantly, seen or unseen. Completing any task immediately lightens your mental and emotional load, whereas procrastination and avoidance just continue to weigh you down. You will never regret making an extra effort when you least feel like it -- guaranteed!
