Dear Seeker,
"Instead of reacting to thoughts and feelings as they pass through us, pulling us into their world as they do, we can release them as they are being formed."
~ Guy Finley

Special exercise: Don't get taken for a ride
How different our lives would be if we could learn to question our negative states rather than blindly go along with them. Which doesn't mean that we react in the opposite way either, by pretending everything is okay or that we're not bothered. To question negativity is to recognize that even though you clearly feel what you feel, the feeling isn't "yours" -- it's simply passing through. You need not jump on its back like a bull rider. Let the beast snort and buck and intimidate you all it wants. Negativity can't take you for a ride if you refuse to engage it.
